Abbey Multi Academy Trust is a Church of England Multi Academy Trust (MAT) within the Anglican Diocese of Leeds that exists to provide outstanding education in both primary and secondary schools in the Anglican Diocese of Leeds area. Abbey MAT is a mixed trust that includes community and Church of England academies. While our Church of England academies place particular emphasis on teaching children and young people about Christian values, beliefs and traditions, all of our academies subscribe to our underpinning educational, ethical and personal development principles and values.

We value diversity and will preserve the distinctive local character of each academy. We welcome students and families from all backgrounds, from all faiths and none. We aim to provide an excellent education, distinctive ethos and inclusive approach to those of the Christian faith, other faiths and no faith. We believe that other schools, beyond the family of Church of England schools, will be attracted to the values of our Trust and they will be welcomed.

Abbey MAT is committed to providing high quality education for all within an ethos which seeks to work in partnership to educate, nurture and empower through academic, vocational, mental, physical, cultural and spiritual opportunities so that each individual in its academies is able to achieve their full potential. Our ethos and values underpin all the work of the Trust. Everyone is encouraged to explore their own spirituality and to recognise and understand that of others.
