At St. Chad’s C of E Primary school our mission: “In the light of God; we care, we share, we laugh, we learn” is central to everything we do. We are an inclusive school where at the heart of St. Chad’s Education is the development of the character of each child. As a Christian school our curriculum promotes the development of key Christian values linked to civic, moral and performance outcomes. Our Christian values are fully aligned with British values. This mirrors the Church of England’s vision for an education which promotes “life in all its fullness” (John 10:10).

St. Chads is a warm and welcoming school, full of children who are eager to learn supported by talented teachers and support staff. We have high aspirations and expectations for every one of our pupils and all our staff are committed to providing the highest quality of education to ensure every child has the opportunity to achieve and succeed. The children at St. Chads are amazing and it is a privilege to work with them every day. Our young people continually impress the adults in school with their academic achievements and their personal, social and spiritual development. We place huge importance on Pupil Voice and encourage our children to play an active role in school-life, offering their ideas and taking on responsibilities within the school community.  Children are encouraged to build an understanding of social responsibility and their role within a Global community.
